Discuzz
Discuzz Network is the world's first video chat platform integrated into the Web3 space, offering enhanced usability, data protection, and advanced functionality.
I led the Discuzz Network project from concept to successful acquisition, overseeing the full lifecycle — from product strategy and design to development and launch. The platform was built as a suite of interconnected tools for modern communication and professional networking, combining real-time video, social discovery, and Web3 technologies. The system was divided into three purpose-driven products, each tailored to distinct user needs but united by a consistent design system and scalable architecture:
1) Discuzz Video – A smooth, real-time video conferencing platform optimized for browser-based group calls. Key focus areas included low-latency streaming, cross-device compatibility, and intuitive UI for frictionless meetings.
2) Discuzz FindMe – A hybrid concept inspired by LinkedIn and Reddit, designed for professional discovery and social engagement. It allowed users to build profiles, share content, and network based on interests or industry — with community-driven features like upvotes, categories, and threaded discussions.
3) Discuzz Web3 – A crypto-native extension that enabled users to connect their crypto wallets and transfer project-related tokens securely. This functionality laid the foundation for incentivized participation and DAO-like collaboration within the network.
The platform was built to scale quickly and adapt to market feedback. Within just seven months, the product reached a point where it attracted acquisition interest — and was successfully sold. Throughout the process, I was responsible for technical leadership, UI/UX design, front-end and back-end development, and team coordination. The MVP launches for alpha testing in December 2024, in partnership with Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and 500 testers.

Scope of work
Full product lifecycle: from concept to deployment & acquisition. Front-end & back-end development for 3 platform versions (WebRTC video chat, FindMe, Web3 wallet integration), UI/UX design, Streaming optimization, Authentication flow, Token transfer UI (Web3), Product positioning and branding.
Development Process
We started by defining the core functionalities and creating an intuitive design. Next, we developed the front-end using React and Next, and the back-end with Node.js, MongoDB, integrating Clerk and Stream. After thorough testing, we deployed the app, which includes video chat, a networking platform, and a crypto transfer tool for withdrawing tokens.
